Forums Has this been done away with? The link in the dark blue column on the left no longer works. I know it wasn't used much, but it might be if it were made available. thx Submitted By: Bob Budesa

Speed Traps I was on my way to Jacksonville and went from a 45 to a 25 zone, trying to slow down as I spotted an officer hidden behind some bushes. He nailed me. It looked rural to me, and the 25 MPH limit did not make sense. Anyway, the ticket had a price tag of $97.00, money I wanted to spend in town. It pretty much ruined my trip, and I'll never come to Jacksonville again. These speed traps are a good way to raise revenue, but bad for tourism. PT2@ SOHS MAKES A BIG MISTAKE Also SOHS did not have to print the Britt photos at this time they could have waited and printed them when they had the money to do it right. Do you know what it took Britt to get the first Images of Crater Lake. The work was hard. That first Image of carter lake was seen from coast to coast. We own it to the man that has given us so much, better then muddy copier like prints cropped badly from a one hour photo and not at all what Mr. Britt had in mind when taking the photos. His photos are near perfect when printed right the detail of light and shadow is breath taking a true Master of Photography. So please Help stop this and be a voice for the great artist Peter Britt and tell SOHS to stop doing this to a icons art work. I have over 20 years of darkroom experience and have printed Britt photos for SOHS for over 5 years I have offend SOHS to print Peter Britt's work for free but as of yet they have not taken my offer. I know that SOHS does a lot of good work by a lot of great people

SOHS MAKES A HUGE MISTAKE Please help be the voice for Peter Britt and help save his art work. Here are some of the facts. Did you know that board member Terrie Martin of Southern Oregon Historical Society had beloved photos of Peter Britt printed at Costco one hour photo? shocking I know but true. would anyone ever think of printing Ansel Adams photos at a One hour photo ,so why would you ever print Peter Britt that way. Don't you Think he should have better? When I told Executive Director Allison Weiss that this was wrong and that most of the SOHS staff felt the same and the people of southern Oregon need to know she said "This would muddy the name of SOHS and that it was just my opinion that the Costco photos are wrong" I feel she is the one who is wrong along with anyone who supports this mistake ,and they Muddy the name of Peter Britt and SOHS.The money saved is cents per print. Also SOHS did not have to print the Britt photos at this time they could have waited and printed them when they had the money
